VoltTrail Verdict

Choose the MX400 over the MX350 if your child will ride on anything rougher than flat grass. The suspension makes a real difference on dirt and uneven terrain.

Overview

The MX400 sits between the MX350 and MX650 in Razor's lineup. The key upgrade over the MX350 is full front and rear suspension, making it more comfortable on bumpy terrain while keeping the same proven motor and safety record.

Performance

Same 14 mph top speed as the MX350. The difference is real: front forks and rear shock absorbers transform the ride quality on dirt paths, grass, and uneven backyards. A noticeable improvement for mixed terrain.

Battery & Range

Same 24V 7Ah lead-acid battery as the MX350 — about 30 minutes of ride time. Unchanged and still the weakest aspect of the bike. Overnight charging required.

Pros
  • Full suspension front and rear
  • Authentic dirt bike look
  • Razor brand reliability
  • Better for mixed terrain
  • Proven build quality
Cons
  • Same battery as MX350
  • Lead-acid only
  • Heavier than MX350
  • No speed advantage over MX350
